4 killed, several others hospitalized in Cholera outbreak in Ebonyi

At least, four people have been reportedly dead as Cholera outbreak hit Ebonyi State, South East Nigeria. Many others are in various hospitals in town undergoing treatment, while rural dwellers are patronising herbal homes for cure.

The outbreak of the disease has been attributed to to lack of good drinking water. Rural dwellers rely majorly on pond for their drinking water, while the Izzi community, it was reported, share pond water with grazing animals. Ngbo and Okposi communities, are not left out of the disease outbreak.
